Hello Junior Friends~

On behalf of the Junior Friends of The Campagna Center we would like to invite you to participate in the 13th Annual Toast to Fashion to be held on Thursday, March 22nd from 6:30 -10 pm at Belle Haven Country Club. Proceeds from this event generate much needed support for many of the programs operated by The Campagna Center. Your support in the past year is most appreciated and we would love for you to participate again. If you are new to Junior Friends, this is a fantastic event for a wonderful cause!

A premier fundraiser for The Campagna Center, the Toast to Fashion is an annual event combining a fashion show, marketplace, raffle and cocktail reception with all proceeds supporting the programs of The Campagna Center. The evening features some of the most fashionable spring trends from merchants and boutiques in Alexandria and the Washington metropolitan area and is attended by approximately 200 guests each year. The event is actively promoted through Facebook, Twitter and through active public relations. We are pleased to announce, that once again, ABC-7/WJLA’s Britt McHenry has signed on to emcee the festivities.

We have a viewing area for the NCAA sweet sixteen. So buy tickets for the guys in your life (and basketball loving gals!)

All Models (except children), Day of Duty volunteers and committee members need a ticket. Tickets are $60 on Monday and at the door

Thank you to our raffle and logistics committee for such a productive bag stuffing meeting on Tuesday! The bags look amazing thanks to Jessica Richardson, our bag sponsor and donors! The bags are stuffed with hundreds of dollars worth of coupons and swag ($35 lip gloss, t-shirts, Lilly Koozies, samples, snacks, candy, etc. etc. etc.! The bags are worth more than the cost of your ticket!! YAY!

We have a KILLER raffle thanks to all of your generous donations and solicitations - trips, hotel stays, jewelry, clothes, restaurant gift cards, etc. etc. $1000s of dollars of raffle items! PLEASE purchase your raffle tickets at the event. You must be present to win. Tickets are 1 for $5, 5 for $20. We need to raise at least $2,000 from the raffle to meet our budget goals. We know we can get there thanks to all of your generous support!

We have a "MARKETPLACE GIVES BACK" promotion too!! When you arrive, we will have a flyer with information on our marketplace vendors donating a percentage of their proceeds back from one item to The Campagna Center. If you purchase one of these items, you will have your flyer initialed by the vendor. That flyer can be dropped off at our "Marketplace Gives Back" Bowl for a chance to win two tickets to "Bowties & Belles" on May 7th! (valued at $150!) Just another way to have fun and support The Center!

The awards ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm and the show immediately after.

We will be providing 2 free drink tickets to each attendee. Bars, marketplace and raffle will open at 6:30 pm. Shopping will continue until the end of the event at 10:00 pm. Bellacara will be providing free make-up touch-ups throughout the evening and a Touch of Peace Massage will be giving chair massages for the first hour! Sign up when you arrive!

Toast to Fashion Revisted

Here are a few photos from the Toast to Fashion, held May 14 at Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria. What a successful and fun event!
