Adults won't want to miss the
Taste of Scotland event this festive event is held at the historic Masonic Temple & features top-shelf scotch tasting menu including various rare Scotches direct from Scotland distilleries, Scottish ale sampling, as well as beer, wine, and light fare. The big event takes place Friday evening from 8-11 pm.

SCWW would not be complete without our signature Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend parade. Our Grand Marshal is The Honorable Patsy Ticer. Over 100 Scottish Clans, pipe and drum bands, Scottish dancers, re-enactment groups, Scottie dog groups, dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus will march through the streets of Old Town. The parade route begins at the corner of Wilkes & S. St Asaph Streets in Old Town and ends at King & Royal Streets. Bring the kids for a great holiday treat!

The Holiday
Designer Tour of Homes is another Old Town favorite. Stop in to these beautifully decorated homes. Proceeds benefit The Campagna Center.

Ladies, our success in helping The Campagna Center depends on you, serving day of duty shifts, attending these events and spreading the word to your friends! Thank you for all of your help so far and we look forward to a fabulous weekend to help The Campagna Center!

Junior Friends Day of Duty Shifts

We are less than 2 weeks away from the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend! We know you are all busy working on your committees getting ready for all of the fabulous events. If you have yet to sign up for a DAY OF DUTY SHIFT, we kindly ask that you do so asap. We have more shifts than Junior Friends so we need everyone to step up and at least serve on one shift to be in good standing, but if you are able to do more than one - we would be SO grateful! If you sign up for more than one, we will see on VolunteerSpot and we will hold a drawing in January for a fabulous prize just for those who have signed up for at least two shifts! We are so grateful for all of your help. You can sign up for the first time or again for any shift at:

As you all know, Day of Duty shifts provide critical support to our mission of helping The Campagna Center. Thank you for all of your help!

Urgent Help needed by The Campagna Center

Dear TCC Junior Friends:
The ask below is from The Campagna Center Development Committee. Please help get the 11,000 in parade fees waived by contacting the city council (instructions are below) and asking your friends, neighbors, family and local businesses you frequent to do the same!
Jen Peterson

Dear TCC Junior Friends:

As you may know, the City of Alexandria is planning to charge The Campagna Center approximately $11,000 for costs associated with the Scottish Walk parade. We have decided to launch a campaign asking City Council to waive this fee so that all of our hard-earned donations from the event will go to The Campagna Center. The best way to help is to email the attached letter to the Mayor and City Council members asking them to waive the fee. You may send this letter as is, or feel free to change it to reflect your personal thoughts. Please follow these instructions for contacting the Council members:

1) Download the attached letter to your file.
2) Open it and sign your name at the bottom.
3) Save the revised letter.
4) Go to the following website: Fill in the contact information, and then attach your letter where prompted.
6) Hit send!

The City makes it very simple to contact the Mayor and six council members all at once through this web page, so the whole process should not take more than 10 minutes. If you would like to do more to help, please forward this information to friends and family members and ask them to contact City Council. Please do this as soon as possible, as time it running short. Thanks for your help!
